Never underestimate the simple beauty of Black & White images...
The images above were taken with natural window light while the images below with studio lights.
Parents can focus too much during a photo session about "smiling" and sometimes the most breathtaking images can be the ones with the serious expressions...I love the innocence in her expression below. There is nothing more beautiful than the innocence that is childhood.
