My Spunky Niece Teyha - Sunshine Coast & Brisbane Portrait Photographer

Last week I photographed my 20 month old niece Teyha or as I call her "Tey Baby" before she left for Texas USA for 3 months. I have a connection with Tey above and beyond that of just niece and aunt, she is my baby and I love her as much as my own daughter...I was blessed to be there when she was born and my bond with her began then. Tey has a way of lighting up a room, she is constant whirlwind of energy and excitement and the enthusiasm she has for life is contagious. I love her beyond words and like Rena she has claimed a piece of my heart forever...can't wait till she is home so I can cover her in kisses xoxoxoxoxo

Parents can focus too much during a photo session about "smiling" and sometimes the most breathtaking images can be the ones with the serious expressions...I love the innocence in her expression below. There is nothing more beautiful than the innocence that is childhood.

Expectations Shoot with Jess - Sunshine Coast & Brisbane Portrait Photographer

Last week after a few delays due to rain I got to capture Jess and her lovely family as they await the arrival of their second son. I can't say it enough - I love pregnancy photographs!!! I don't think women know or appreciate how trully beautiful they are when they carry a child; maybe it's the miracle of it or maybe it is that glow everyone talks about but I know I just feel honoured when I get to share in this special time in a couples life. I took Jess, Liam and their son Kai to Coolum Boardwalk and then the beach. I love the photos of Jess on the log, the light was beautiful that afternoon and she just looks like a goddess. Thanks guys for letting me capture you and I can't wait to photograph bubs....
