This Summer I'm Launching: PORTRAIT PARTIES!!!

This Summer Holidays I am launching "Portrait Parties" - These are like tupperware parites - They are hosted at someone's house - min 8 people - a mini studio is set up in one of the rooms with a selection of backdrops and studio lighting. There are no sitting fees and absolutely nothing is sold at the party. Each guest gets porfessional studio portraits of their child done during a 20min. time slot that is pre-arranged by the hostess. It is a really simple and affordable way to have portraits done of your children. The hostess gets gifts for hosting the party and earns credit towards her own purchases.

Family Portrait Special

Beginning December I am having a "Family Portrait Special". This runs from December 1st 2009 to April 30th 2010. Details on this can be found onmy website or by calling the studio. If you book in December (not have the shoot, just book) you get an extra 8x10" print FREE! So HURRY!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

So another year is almost over and Christmas is upon us. I really pray everyone has a wonderful Christmas and that the new year brings only good things. I have again volunteered this Christmas at my Church's Christmas Event - "Christmas Lights". I am running the photography again. It is such an amasing event that is great for the whole family it starts this Saturday evening at 6pm and finishes Christmas Eve!

Launch of New Website

For the last couple of months I have been working with a designer on a new logo. So I have redesigned my website, blog and business cards to incorporate this new logo. I am very excited so check out the website!!

Aumann Family @ Point Cartwright

On friday I had the joy of photographing the Aumann family at Point Cartwright. We had so much fun and the light was just beautiful! It was windy however so that caused problems but overall it was an awesome shoot. This is my last shoot of the year as I close my doors shortly for a Christmas Event I will be working, so this was a great way to end the year! Thanks guys for making my job easy!

Way too much free time!!!

Not to busy with editing at the moment so just for a little fun (don't get to do my own thing that much) I played around with an image I shot earlier in the year. The original has been cropped and then I turned her into a super hero. Tell me what you think - it turned out totally different to what I expected - I was not planning to do a superhero I was just playing around with combining some textures and she appeared.

David Ward Shoot @ the Studio

David Ward or as he likes to be known "The International Man of Mystery" came into the studio this week for a shoot for his public speaking website. David is a Doctor and also in the Army Reserve he is a really inspiring person and genuine nice guy. Here are a few of the shots from the shoot.

Reimers Family @ The Studio

The Reimers family came all the way from Western Australia for this shoot. Shooting four young children was a challenge but fun was had and we got some great shots. My favourite by far is the feet I just love the simplicity of it and the great thing about this type of shot is everyone looks great from this angle!

Beatrix & Toby Studio Shoot

On Monday morning I had a shoot with Toby & Beatrix in the studio. It was just a simple shoot as I will be shooting a family portrait at their house with the rest of the family in a few weeks (there are five kids altogether!!). I had sooo much fun with Beatrix while she made some hilarious faces. My fav one of her has to be the one with the drool in B&W just perfectly angelic. Toby being a 3 year old was more complicated but I managed to get him to have some fun with a hat and the pictures are priceless.

Glamour Puss!! - Lovely Leigh

I concluded the shoot with my brother and his family with a few glamour shots of Leigh who after a little encouragement played with some sunglasses I have in the studio. We spent a few minutes laughing and joking but got some beautiful shots of her and the gorgeous couple. My favourite is the first one!

Paroz Family Shoot @ The Studio

I had my brother's family in the studio for the first time. They came with a few ideas for what they would like which I really recommend to people as everyone has their own taste. We tried heaps of different poses and came up with a few that really look stunning. I love the"nude" looking ones on the black background they are what I really like in a family portrait - love and intimacy with a little fun thrown in for a laugh!
